Fashion absorbes influence in ways that are not always obvious.

Muse Behavior Runway & Artist Showcase is a performance that balances theatrical elements and well-executed fashion. Imagine a classic runway show as it walks through a unique set design that tells the story beyond the garments while drawing the audience into the show. With deeper visual context, the less obvious muses become a bigger part of the story.

The 1st ever Muse Behavior Runway will take place at the historic Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. The past performers, important events, and endless memories makes this the perfect venue to bring together our collage of theater, fashion, and nostalgia. To expand beyond fashion, our artist showcase gallery offers a personal experience with more modalities of creativity.

“Muse Behavior is a phrase to describe the personality that each outfit has. “Muse behaviors” are less obvious influences we often overlook in fashion. I want to make the less obvious muses a bigger part of the show.”

VENUE

The Crystal Ballroom

Empty ballroom with wooden floor, ornate gold ceiling, chandelier, stage area, and large windows with curtains.
An empty ballroom with large windows, ornate crown molding, a stage with black speakers, and classic artwork on the walls.
An ornate chandelier hanging from a ceiling with decorative trim in an elegant interior space.

The ideal blend of past meets present. Crystal Ballroom is a muse in its own right as Portland's most historic concert venue.

The space is 7,500 square feet, with a classic corner stage, floor-to-ceiling windows, a swooping balcony, and full bar service.

Our event will overflow into an artist gallery, where you can browse and meet the artists while enjoying the pre-show.

Our audience of up to 400 guests will line the runway path. Just like live theater, the guests will have a real-time view of the stage crew flipping the set between each collection, drawing them into the story.
